They offer special AP rates at different times of the year. Last year rates for me got as low as $89.00 per night for the DLH. You can always make the reservation and then purchase the AP before checking into the hotel! That is what my brother-in-law did since he didn't already have his card, but wanted the same rate we had.

It would have to be some thing really special to get me to go to Disneyland during any kind of "Break".
I have just never been to Disneyland in the spring. Last year we went the first week in December, I Thought the spring time might be a nice change.
Also I'm hopeing the cost of the hotels will be lower at that time of year.

We have also been the first week of May and it was not bad at all.

The first week of May has been a lot better than the last couple of weeks in April. The weekends especially.

(This might be his last year for a "kid's" party). But since May is better at DL, I guess we will work around it. We've only been back from DL for 11 days and are already in "withdrawal", so we are planning on a Spring trip now!

If you go the second week of May, the weather is great, no lines, perfect! Right after all the breaks are done and before the grad nights start happening and the parks close early for them.

Or, we might just go the 3rd week instead. Do you think it will be much more crowded than the second week?
