I liked that they have a room with 3 queens and they also have cont. breakfast.

Anyway... anyone have any comments on this hotel vs. HoJo?

Thanks in advance for any input :)

The rooms were ok but that was before the recent remodel. And it's location is the best. Very easy walk from a long day in Disneyland. Now for Hojos, I like it better. The hotel is spread out and there is plenty of parking. All the rooms are accessible through interior halls, and most have balconies. I like that extra bit of little space. The beds are extremely comfortable and some rooms have a sink outside the bathroom in addition to one in the bathroom. Just some things to think about. If you can get a good deal, I would go with Hojo. Hope this helps. But in the end, both are good places, and really, how much time do we spend in the rooms? I forgot to mention the great little water area at Hojos, Pirates Cove. If you have little ones and it is warm enough, I would choose Hojos just for that.

I was nervous about the room because it was so reasonable AND just across the street. It is literally the closest motel to the DL entrance. Much closer than the DLR hotels even.
Anyway, I was pleasantly surprised by the rooms. They were good sized, had plenty of room. Had a microwave and refrigerator too. And the rooms were CLEAN. There was even a welcome gift basket with wine, water, snacks, etc.

    Large sink/bathroom area too.

The pool was closed for renovations when I was there, so I can't comment on that, but it was just a standard pool, nothing special really about it.

The free breakfast was my favorite part.
Even stopping off at fast food for a family of 4 or 5 will be a huge expense to get rid of every morning. They actually have stuff you can eat too. Donuts, waffles, cereal, toast, etc.
You can sit on the patio and look over at the top of the Matterhorn Mountain.

I loved it, and would definitely stay again.

I won't repeat what CuriouserContance said because we stayed at the Park Vue in June and found it to be exactly as she described it. The Park Vue used to be a rough little hotel with a fair to bad free breakfast. I think since they re-modeled it is a great place to stay.

I forgot to ask my family if there was a parking fee because BWPP has starting charging a fee for parking since the New Year. For some reason that stupid added on fee irritates me! I might just check this out. It seems like my sister got a basket of goodies(fresh fruit&candy) in their room also! I was also able to check out the cont.breakfast; Better at Park Vue. I have never stayed at HOJO's. I suppose I will eventually but that extra walking distance at the midnight hour is nice and close at BWPP and ParkVue!

There's very little of it and even though most guests fly in, sometimes the lot gets full. Once we ended up parking in not a space, but we didn't get ticketed or towed.

We literally parked our car and didn't move it the whole time so never experienced if the parking was limited or not.
