But like the pp said, there's no guarantee which hotel you'll get. We've encountered a 2 1/2 * hotel that wasn't going to budge on the "double occupancy". I "only" had 4 kids then and we wound up with one King sized bed! Needless to say, we "camped out"- thankfully it was only for one night. Priceline is great for 2 people but a little risky for us with big famiies when you are naming your own price. JMO....

The hotels have been accomadating with placing other families (PL bidders)in adjoining rooms too. I am not sure how much the convention business, say at a Hyatt, reduces the available rooms they use for PL, but it might be a factor in rates and availability.
