After that, you'll run into everyone taking 1/2 day off to start their Vegas weekend early. And it stays busy until late Saturday night at that point. And there's a patch of construction about mid-way right now where everything slows down. Take snacks and good music along for the ride... It's definitely bearable.

There were a few spots on the road where things slowed down, mainly cajon pass & the section of the 15 where there is construction. But these slow downs didn't really make the drive any longer than normal. From all my experiences I would say that if you leave no later than noon you should have a clear sail all the way through =)

Originally Posted By gottaluvdavillains you didn't say when in Feb - I would say if you are going back on Friday the 13th - you would be heading into Vegas on a 3 day weekend and valentines day weekend all in one... I would say that would effect the drive time.
