Since they've now all sold out, the next figure in the collection has been released, and it's Bandleader Mickey. Here's a picture of him: <a href="http://www.colddeadfish.net/images/DLR/5ftblmickey1.jpg" target="_blank">http://www.colddeadfish.net/im

Bandleader Mickey arrived earlier this weekend. He'll be gone for about a week or so as he gets a base attached to him, and then he'll return. He also comes with a baton and a feather for his hat, but since they are easily damaged, they are not put out on display, but if you ask a cast member, they can take them out so you can see the completed figure. He's a really spectacular figure. Wouldn't it be great to have a house big enough so that when you enter, Bandleader Mickey greets you in the foyer? :)

How does one determine "life size" when it comes to Mickey...?

Don't know where they get those gargantuan specimens you see around DL.

I remember reading or hearing that walt, when describing mickey, once held his hand out to about his waist, saying Mickey was yay high.

    2 things:

1/ I am fortunate enough my house is well big enough (4800 sq ft) to house the big guy.....

2/ The house would have even more space in it as my wife would move me and my Disney treasure trove out of it on short order...I think this figure would be the last straw ;-)

Well, that would be about how tall he was in Fantasia when he came out at the end of the Socerer's Apprentice. It's good to know that they keep these things consistent.
