I am wondering....on most of the Fantasyland Rides...Alice, Mr Toad, Snow White, Peter Pan (OMG I am a horrible DL'er) what is the seating and restraints (are there even lap bars or anything?) like? My husband and I are going, and I humbly admit over the years I've never been on these rides and hope to go on them in Dec when we're there...
BUT neither one of us is petite in either direction (well he's tall and we're both above average size lol)....partly why I've not gone on the rides, I'm afraid I won't fit!

We did Monsters Inc last year and I was ok, but he had to fold himself under the seat(he's 6'7) and the 2 of us in the same seat was a tight fit....darn hips anyway )

So any advice or thoughts on the Fantasyland rides would be appreciated...
    thanks all!

I think the worse for him was the Pooh ride. He did lose like 80pds and going because when we go to DL again, he wants to comfortable.

So do the lap bars just come down like haunted mansion type thing where you have room or do they have to lock down pretty tight like a coaster? See I'm a horrible Disneyland fan!!)

You already have your answer, but I agree with alphabetmom. I'm 5'4", but even before my pregnancy was almost 250 lbs. ElderP is similarly sized, but he's 6 feet. We usually ride the fanatasy land rides in seperate cars.

Also, I agree with Kari... the absolute worst, the one I have a hard time getting comfortable on is the Winnie the Pooh ride. Nothing else is uncomfortable as long as I have the seat to myself.

HM and Buzz are the only ones whose lap bar is "automatic". All the fantasy land rides you put it down yourself, or the cast members do. A couple have seatbelts, instead of lap bars, but I don't remember which ones. I do know I've never had a seatbelt I couldn't fasten because it was too short (thank goodness!).
