    Wow, very interesting, the Grand Californian's standard rooms are smaller than either of the other hotels' rooms. Great site - this kind of info is getting harder and harder to find at both DL and WDW (but then at GC prices, I'd expect a slightly LARGER room, so no wonder!). Thanks from me too, rtj172.

    The DLH and PP are older hotels, so the rooms are larger. GCH was built later, adn like others in the area built more recently, the rooms are smaller.

If you are mousesize maybe. The room has one ?queen? (looks double?) and a fold out couch. When you open the couch there is no room left in the room! I will be staying at the GCH DVC this October and expect the rooms to be tiny also!

    How many people in your party to require a suite at the DLH ? I hope you can find a good price for August plans!

    i have always heard that the gc rooms are small, but have never stayed there. i'm a dlh kinf of person.

    Thanks, MMC. We just have four in our group...me, my wife, and our two sons, 7 and 5. We are surprising these kids on Thursday, dragging them to the airport here in Ohio and then springing the whole Disneyland thing on them.

    Given the time change and the fact that we have two early risers in our group, the suite is a convenience thing. I learned a long time ago that having a separate room lets the late risers sleep in peace and keep me out of hot water.
