we never took wrong turning this time and got there about 08.45 now before we got there i knew kristine wouldnt ride much as she doesnt really do the big rides so after a nice walk through the shopping and clubbing scene we go in hang a left and i walked on (no wait)to the HULK awsome ride as normal, then whilst kris bathed in the early morning sun i jumped on dr dooms freefall (10 min wait) another good ride if not short, we then went on spiderman (no wait again)ive always thought this as just an average ride kris didnt like it at all, onto jurasic park where we went on the water ride(great)walked around the museum and then found out we needed to be with a kid to go on the flyers (bizzare)
now for some reason fire n ice duelling dragons was down so we looked at the new harry potter world from the bridge and then went to see show which had changed some since i last saw it and had to listen to some woman harp on about her holiday home she just bought all through the show, hung around by the funny fountain whilst eating our bagels before hitting seuss landing now of all the huge rides there that we waited no longer than 10 mins we found ourselves stuck in a like for 40 mins for the trolley ride that lasts for about 2 minutes ha ha ha.
then went into the cookie shop and got myself the best sugar cookie in the world kris got a chunk of the sickliest fudge i have ever tasted then onto the cat in the hat followed by red fish blue fish yes im 45 but i love that ride :)
we also rode caroseussel, the park was really empty and lifeless and we had done all the was to do so we decided to head over to US on the way out i jumped on hulk for a last ride.
we got over to US and it was a little busier than IOA but then that wasnt to hard we went on most of the rides apart from rip ride as it was 120 min line i managed to go on mummy 3 times in a row with no wait and eventually got to see the blues brothers always a great show but i think this too has been shortened, that was us done it was only 5pm and we had done both parks after doing all disney parks kristine wasnt impressed with universal at all she even said their CM's were not guest friendly which of course is quite true sometimes and i found myself saying it would have to improve a lot to get me back there in a hurry, but tomorrow was to be a good old fasioned disney day with a surprise too.

That said, we have farily young kids so outside of Seuss Island there isn't much they enjoy at IOA. The Studio park was much preferred by them.

(I believe the Dragons ride has been down throughout the construction of Potterland.)

And, NOONE should wait for that Trolley in the Sky ride. What an absolute waste. My 3 year old looked at me and said, "did we ride it" when we got off.

But then, I feel that other than Epcot and DAK, Florida has weaker parks overall than California.
