So DH was able to pull out the wrapping supplies and now I am a good chunk done with the wrapping, so hopefully I can get the packages that need to be mailed, shipped out on Monday. Then I don't have to worry about anything until we fly up to Seattle on the 22nd. I know I have space for the presents I am bringing in the suitcase. A lot worried about having enough room for our presents get back home.

Everyone else brings dozens and you end up with a bunch of different kinds of cookies. At our parties, we make sugar cookies (and sometimes gingerbread) and make the frosting (and provide sprinkles) and give everyone boxes to take their cookies home in. Each party is a lot of fun. This is the 7th year we've had our party. The very first year we had one, I bought one giant red and one giant green container of sugar sprinkles from Costco. We finally emptied the containers last year. Good luck with your party, 2/3!! I feel your pain! ;-)

Tamales have taken over our tradition from cookies. We did 42 dozen Thanksgiving weekend = 504 tamales. My hands are still recovering. We still bake but as extreme as Mele and threeundertwo. We are decorating the whole house for the first time in 2 years. <sigh> 32 totes and 20 or misc boxes and bags. I've been on Snowmen since 9:30 this morning, what was I thinking?????????????????
