Actually, I took a typing course or two and am quite proficient so I can keep up with the "young-uns" I post with. Still, Mr. X. you describe the feelings that go along with I.M. very well. One point on I.M. etiquette is "let the other poster know when you leaving so they don't sit waiting for a reply that never comes. I love chat.
