Is the Plaza Inn still doing the Princess thing now that they have that over at Ariel's Grotto or are they back to the regular characters? I much prefer Tigger 'n friends, etc.!

Also, if you make reservations for early in the morning, you will have plenty of time to eat and get to the park on time.

We always do the Storytellers Cafe. We love them all. ºoº

We have always had a great time at the Plaza!

We have reservations for Sunday! Hmmm....any new Disney dining pins being released this weekend???

That would definitely qualify price wise!

When at other parks, meeting characters during meals, she has done fine but freaks out when meeting them outside. Anybody else been through this and have advice?

We went in the morning before the park opened and I found it difficult to get to since we stay off property.

Storyteller's Cafe is beautiful but isn't really "Disney" and has few characters. However, the food was by far the best of them all. We're going to the dinner buffet this time. (No characters though)

I think it is nice that you have the option of just ordering off the menu at these two places, as well as the buffet, as this can make it considerably less expensive.

Goofy's is our all time favorite. Big selection of food although it isn't fabulous. The restaurant is very "Disney" and the selection of characters is good. We also like the fact that we can get a family picture at the front and purchase it if we want.

We usually make our reservations for about 11:30 so we can go to the park and get some rides in when it isn't as busy and then go for "brunch".

This time I was going to make reservations for the Plaza Inn as we have never been there. However, I don't like the fact that it only opens when the park opens and closes at 11:00 am.

The way we see it is that you are sitting having breakfast when the lines are the shortest!

We would rather eat a small snack, fruit, granola bars etc., on the way to the park to arrive just before it opens and then ride some rides until 11:00 when it starts getting busier and then head to Goofy's for brunch.

    That's just our logic!

Even not having little kids we could enjoy it
    1) though other peoples kids
    2) by reverting to childhood ourselves

I will probably mention more about our experience on the next episode of my travel podcast The Amateur Traveler
