I'm hopin' that this 2nd time it was just mailed out later than thought, or has taken its sweet time gettin' here.

That first item was a on a whim, I have no idea why I picked it other than it was cheap. It was an old empty bottle of Hires Root Beer extract in it's original box and the recipe for making Root Beer at home. I have gotten some strange items in lots while searching for old Disneyland items. Back then it was common to come across someone who found an old box in their aunts attic from a trip to California in the fifties or sixties which included things like California state souvenirs, plates, ash trays etc. Many times in that box is old Disneyland maps, brochures, postcards etc. Many times they were sold in lots, I may have only wanted a postcad or DL map, but had to take the whole lot. Disneyland only mattered to me, I'd just take the other non Disneyland stuff and donate it to my local thrift store. One time I bid on an auction for an old slide projector which included many slides of family vacations and store bought "Pana Vue" slides from Disneyland. I won the auction for about $25 dollars, the shipping was almost more than the items. Back then, any eBay user could see your e-mail address and contact you. Shorty after the auction I got an e-mail from the buyer whom I outbid. Apparently he collected old camera equipment and he was surprised that someone else actually outbid him for the projector, but he was smart enough to look at my bid history and feedback to learn that it was the Disneyland picture I truly wanted. I conceded that I only wanted the DL slides and not the projector. He asked if he could buy the projector, I explained that I had to pay almost $25 just for shipping and theoretically it will cost approximately another $25 to ship it to him. He offered me a flat $100 and I was more than happy to take it.

Her first name is the same as a Disney character. Very charming woman!

It doesent go too well with my Disney stuff, but being a history buff, and somewhat of an expert on the Donner Party, it is very important to me.
