Anyway, she would have said, 'thanks' in person, but, she's too busy eating our flowers, biting the branches off of our young maple tree, digging holes, and, generally messing up my once, perfectly manicured backyard. Those days are over. It took me 3 days to find one of my slippers last week. Oh, and if anyone has any tips on how to stop your dog from eating his/her food in less than 2 seconds...I'd like to hear.

Some people 1/4 mile away had looked out their patio door to see a big Bassett hound looking in. Just so happens they had a new *girl* Bassett hound puppy. LOL! Great noses on those dogs!

Originally Posted By onlyme >>she doesn't know you don't want it.<< LOL!! Actually, when I mix a bit of warm water with it, it looks kind of good. I've thought about giving it to her in stages. I'll try it. The vet was the one who told me to add some warm water and mix it. Well, now, all I hear is slurping, instead of crunching. It didn't slow her down at all. BT, yes, from what I've heard Golden Retrievers can be quite a handful, as well. Maybe when yours is older, then you can get him/her a little buddy to train. I may do that if I haven't moved out by then.
