No reports of injuries or damages so far.

We were in Best Buy at the time. A lot of rocking of items in the store, but nothing fell off any shelves. We walked toward the open area near the front of the store until the rolling stopped. We decided to go back tomorrow to finish our shopping.

A couple of pictures fell over, but no damage.

It was a fun ride. :)

After every quake they always set up a "did you feel it" page. It helps them compile data on how quakes affect certain areas. I guess different soil types, and other factors, not JUST distance, influance how destructive quakes can be. Anyway, *I* think it's interesting!

This is the did you feel it page for the 5.6 quake you just had:

If you nose around on the site you can report whether you felt any of the aftershocks. (Don't be suprised if you didn't, it looks like they were just 1.5s or so.)

I called my friend, who lives in Fremont, and she said she was still moving, even after it stopped. LOL She's ok, just "shaken up" (and my pun IS intended! LOL)
