I said "You know, the theme song to the Main Street Electrical Parade" at which point I was called a Disney geek, even by others that moments before were making their own Disney requests.

First clue would be posting on a Disney website.

Not to mention frequent travels to Asia for the sake of Disney. ;)

I'd say you're ALL Disney geeks for wanting to hear Disney music from a piano player at a fine restaurant though...geez, can't think of any better music than THAT!!!!???? :p

(I think baroque hoedown would sound pretty cheezy for solo piano anyway...it was originally written for synthesizer after all!)

SuperDry, for the extreme Disney geek that you are, you're familiar with a surprising array of other "diverse" entertainment venues.

In his defense, it was TOTALLY WorldDisney's idea. Me and SD just wanted to go siteseeing.

Now, whether being a Disney geek is an epithet or an honorific is up to the individual. For me, I'd wear the title proudly!

I've heard it on a solo piano as well, and it sounds great. Of course, it has a different character to it when performed that way. In fact, I once played a recording of it played on a solo piano to someone and asked them to identify the song: they knew it sounded very familiar, but just could not place it.

There are hookers in shinjuku? I thought prostitution was illegal in Japan.
