It's against the rules of the park, and above that, it's illegal. There is absolutely no reason that things like that should be going on in a park that's designed to be enjoyed by families together. If you're dumb enough to do it, especially in public, you deserve to get turned in.

I remember as a kid smelling it all the time in ATIS. AI'd ask my mom what the funny smell was? She would reply that some one must be smoking turkish cigarettes. Lol

ORDDU: I would turn them in because the faster this sort of thing is stopped, the less likely it is to become the 'norm'. Otherwise you invite a certain type of condition at the parks by turning a blind eye to it.

I'd be more concerned if they were smoking tobacco. It's about a hundred times more likely to either kill them outright, or turn their lives into a living Hell.

I feel the same way about ciggarettes but as they are legal at least they have "smoking area's" I can choose to avoid those area's, not so much when they are on the ride with you.

just plain insensitve, rude and selfish.

Pull the weed before it speads and everyone can enjoy the garden...close your eyes and walk away and the garden turns to a weed pit!! It's best to be proactive rather than reactive!

Taking a stand may not be the popular thing to do, but it's what makes a person develop a strong character.

ORDDU: Very true. If Mickey Mouse hadn't stood up to Willie the Giant, he never would have won the hand of Princess Minnie in that little cartoon short--which I can't remember the title of just now. But everybody has to take a stand against evil things SOME day--or else become part of the evil, itself!

My feelings exactly. If they were smoking cigarettes I'd complain. Not only is it rude and stinky, in an enclosed ride with a lot of electrical work it's a fire hazzard. I don't understand why they couldn't just smoke it BEFORE they went on the ride. Like all the other smokers in the park are doing. Probably just wanted to be able to say they did it. Losers.

I do not want my kids anywhere near that...I do not want to have to answer questions about funny smells or why they people doing the smoking are acting weird.

So, yes I would turn them in at DL not so much because it is against the rules or the law so much but because there are a lot of little kids at DL that do not need to be around it.

A drunk driver can kill people. A couple of kids lighting up? Not so much.

Kind of rude to be doing it on a ride though. Should stick to brownies when at Disneyland.

Not that I'd turn them in.

It is highly unlikely they walked in with a lit item, so, it means they used a lighter on the attraction.
This and the smoke creates a hazard to others as well.
There will always be those who believe that not only do rules not apply to them, or that they are cool to break them. but lack the common sense or respect to consider others.
Imagine the effects if they started a fire or tried to step off the ride. A little prescience can help you past your reluctance to "get someone in trouble" I used to work in orthopedic medicine, we did a lot of workers comp, you can't imagine the injuries you see when someone is not paying attention, worse yet when they are drunk or stoned.
