ORWEN: I was never in favor of having them do ANYTHING to decorate Sleeping Beauty's Castle to begin with. Repaint it, YES. But when we first heard about their possible plans to paint the entire fortress GOLD--we cringed. We thought we were making a decent enough compromise to let them simply decorate the castle with crowns and new banners.

ORGOCH: But--after all this here time--we's ready fer the dang crowns ta come down!!

ORWEN: What about the rest of you?

ORDDU: Someone on another web-footed site had suggested that it might be nice if the crowns and other decorations for the 50th remain as a permanent fixture from here on out. To this, my sisters and I protested most vigorously.

ORWEN: I mean, how can you possibly improve on the original?

ORGOCH: Those dang crowns and other junk they got hangin' off a Snoozin' Floosie's Castle gives a witch--like me--the creeps!! Never did like 'em ta begin with!

ORDDU: We will agree that--as long as they insisted on decorating the castle for the 50th--the decorations are a lot more tastefully done than we'd feared. But, still, enough is enough. We're ready to have the decorations come down by now. They've served their purpose and we'd like Aurora's home to be restored to its true glory.

I would even say that the crowns could stay. The other things in the park should definitely leave though (lamp toppers, photo mosaics, gold vehicles, etc.)

(Witches, I cannot imagine what your reaction was to that tasteful, tasteful WDW "Birthday Cake" Castle...)

It's a bit gaudy for my taste but festive enough to let me overlook what I don't like about it.

Don't worry witches you could always do a spell if you don't get your wish :)

Because, you know, you all can pitch in and buy me one. Really. I wouldn't turn it down at all.
