There would seem to be an emerging conspiracy theory developing here.

But what is pretty obviously happening is some folks at WDI are hoping that by leaking out some blue sky ideas to fanbois that Burbank (TDO almost doesn't even matter these days except to sell timeshares and dining plans) will sit up and take notice.

Don't see it happening at all.

Hell, it's not like they've brought certain Imagineers back just because they post politically correct statements online all the time, but they're certainly aware of what gets posted.

It's not like TDO has decided to make CMs soda 'enforcers' when certain Spirits tell the world they should swipe as many free Cokes as they can ... yet they know what's being written.

At the end of the day, Disney doesn't give fans what they want. It gives them what it wants.

Maybe this is both? We want something original, they want a wider demographic?

We may want something original, but I can't say the masses do. They likely want a new character dinner.

And as to a wider demo? Well, Disney has been actively trying to cut its fanbase by focusing on things that appeal to eight-year-old girls and their folks. That's what dumbing park entertainment is about ... or shuttering PI etc.

They don't really seem to care about anything but their core fanbase (mostly the can do nothing wrong post Y2K crowd, not folks who have been regulars since there was one park or two).

    ~Hey LOOK!!! ... A new WALLL!!!!!!~
