My lovely, wonderful husband works very hard: full time job, full time school earning an MBA, and volunteering for church. His main hobby, to relax, is planning our next trip. (or, creating a dream trip)

However, we have run into a problem. Roughly 80 days out, it seem that everything for our September trip to WDW is PLANNED. What's a Disney Geek to do?

And by planned I mean: We have purchased hotel room (All-Star-Music) requested specific room qualities (jazz, handicapped for the king size bed).

Our Airline tickets are purchased: AirTran Redeye Sat nights both comming and going, and magical express is booked.

The Unofficial Guide has been read cover to cover, tour plans selected and dining reservations are made for every evening
Monday: Epcot/DTD and Raglan Road; Tuesday: Studios and PrimeTime (and sciFi for desert); Wednesday: Magic Kingdom and the Aloha show thingy (and yes that is the technical term) at the Polynesian; Thursday: Full day at Epcot and Beirgarten; and Friday: Animal Kingdom followed by The Big Splurge--Victoria and Alberts. We will be leaving noon to 1pm ish on Saturday. (For us, we prefer not to dine out on Sunday if it can be helped, so we plan on packing our carry ons with food for that day.)

I know all you wonderful Disney Geeks can help ElderP come up with something else to plan!!

Check different sites for suggestions. You would be very surprised at how much time you can spend just setting up what you intend to shoot. If that doesn't help your could rip your present plan sheet to shreads, and start all over. See if your plans will allow a little time for visits to other resorts. If so make a plan how many you could slip in, and which ones you really want to see. There are endless things to see, and do at WDW. I'm just not a planner myself. I have no idea what I am going to do when I get there. Get more involved with this forum. You may find somethings of interest that you might want to check out when you get to WDW.

Go wild! Dream it up and plan it up. OK so your dream trip may never happen, but if you find yourself with an unexpected windfall, well who knows.

Hopemax--an personalized hidden mickey's list that would be a good one, and would go straight into...

MPierce's idea for planning some photography.

Also KennesawTom (How's it going BashPal?) Points out another area with the Choclate Shop. The one place we don't have a touring plan for is DTD on our first night. This needs to be scoped out.

Autopia Deb--I will say that he has started to plan a dream trip before, and any "no holds trip" basically comes down to: Well, I would just move in!! :), but may be a trip on the "limited" budget of $25,000 and two weeks for the two of us he could have fun with. (And for the those of you who are either taking large families, or in other ways actually spending more than $25,000 on any trip, that would be more than a 1/3 of our yearly income, we're green with that word I can't spell and wish we could stow away in your suitcase.)

Thanks so far. I'll make sure that ElderP sees this thread and keep the ideas comming.

That's really the fun of it. Do not be intimidated by WDW size, I gaurantee you that you will feel right at home in no time. I suggest you take a slow laid back approach, and don't try to stick to a schedule. Just try to savor each minute. Do you have your list of essentails you might need like suntan lotion, aspirin, little things like that. Those things are very pricey at the resort. Just try to think of everything you might need for a week away from home.
