    The exterior rehab is in progress and should be done within the next 4-5 weeks.

    and a shameless plug- When at the Lodge be sure to spend lots of time and money at the Mercantile. We are *the* best spot on property :)

    Disney management seems to have problems in this regard.

    I had to basically force them to replace the entire interior of the walk-in phone booth across from your shop after they allowed scummy guests to carve graffiti in the wood over a period of YEARS! Bad, bad show.

    And then there were the arguments with the front desk over the pigs throwing cig butts and trash inside the fireplace grate on the third floor lobby area.

    Oh and are the cleaning the new hallway carpeting at all?

    Just wondering. I love the lodge and want to see it maintained as it should be.

    Well if it's any consolation the lodge was in tip top shape a couple of weeks ago. Our room was in great shape and it even had a very nice, big, flat screen LG tv. I'm assuming that they did the same for all the rooms. You should be happy with your stay there, we were plesantly surprised.

    ^^Yep. I know. I got a tour of the new rooms in July and they are wonderful.

    But with pigs as guests, lousy mousekeepers and poor maintainance, a room that's brand new in July can be in bad shape three months later.

    Yes. Since The Spirit is the number one quality control expert (or at least tied with TDL), I think we should hold him personally responsible for making sure that WDW meets our expectations when we visit.
