Since that is so far from now, I really don't think any of us know what sort of neat little things there will be to do, but hopefully the same general stuff will be there. I would suggest taking one of the tours offered. Few of the tours are simply showing you around the park, but insteady they show you the park in a whole new way. I've personally always wanted to do the Segway Epcot tour, or one of the backstage ones. I don't know which ones will be around then, but I would expect something that interests you would be there.

I would also doing something really fancy, but still really fun, like the dinner and reserved seating for Fantasmic!. Although you could also have a nice dinner elsewhere in the park or even nearby and camp out for your spot, it seems a lot more fun and extravagant in that royalty kind of way to just get reserved seats.

Although the parks are great, I would also suggest taking some time off from them, and spending a day just looking around the resort. Rent a boat and play around on the water for a while. Go look at some of the resorts and all the neat stuff that they have to offer. At night, watch the Electrical Water Pageant float around the Seven Seas Lagoon. Play some miniature golf, and just do all those little things that seem to often get lost in the vacations. I'm not sure what will be around, but I'm pretty sure they will have all sorts of neat new little things to do.

Golden anniversaries are an accomplishment, but do you get to be golden just for not dying before you're 30?

Actually I did. My parents bought me a gold watch since they never thought I'd make it to that big 3-0h.

I would contact guest relations in each of the parks and the hotel where you plan to stay and ask them for specific suggestions. I once contacted the pastry chef at one of the better hotel restaurants (don't want to mention names for fear of getting someone in trouble) and she made a HUGE cake for my DH's 50th birthday with 50 candles on top. It was a truly spectacular surprise for him. Of course, I don't think it would be quite as bright with 30 ;-)

I have had lots of cm's go the distance to make things special for my family.

I finished the evening with dinner at Coral Reef, and then partying at Pleasure Island (where I got carded on entry - a great gift for a 40 year old right there!!!).
