Well I haven't seen the new edition yet but we used the 2005 edition for our trip last August and it was really helpful and the touring plans worked really well. I don't think we ever waited in line longer than 20 min and this was at the height of the 50th.

I favor it far above the Birnbaum books, which are, as Darkbeer said, NOT an independent, impartial voice. Grab a copy of the Unofficial Guide (or you could start by checking it out from the library, but I know I like having my own copy) & read it, go over the author's recommendations, then make your own choices.
