Didn't someone already mention here that the CDA guy with one leg up holding the rope is the old Jackie Chan figure??? Well, in either case, I wouldn't call re-skinning a figure any sort of "tribute". Many aspects still remain from the old SSL attration like the track, the limos, the video screens in the queue area, etc. I think if there is a tribute, it would be more like a hidden SSL logo, a SSL character or prop left "in tact", some direct reference to SSL in a picture or written somewhere in the attraction. I have looked carefully at a lot of the details in the ride, and have yet to see anything I would consider a "tribute". But then again, why would WDI want to leave a tribute for SSL when it was arguably one of the biggest flops ever created by WDI (based on things such as time open to the public)?
