If you are, what do you speak? Why did you learn that language? How did you learn it? How often do you speak it? To whom do you speak it?

I can't wait to find out!

If we had an edit button, I'd go into post #1 and add this to the question....

If you could speak any language, what would it be and why?

I took 2 yrs of French in high school, and a semester in college but the only French I really still remember is from that song (Voulez vous...umm...nevermind. LOL)

Sign language is fascinating to me. (All languages are.) DS is learning it in school right now and he just loves it. My friend who knows it has only learned it in the last 2 years but is very fluent.

Your news is way cool, mickeymeg! Very exciting! Congratulations!

I've lived in California my whole life, half of it in Southern California, but I know only a few phrases in Spanish.

Worst of all... my husband is a first generation American. He is bilingual in Hungarian. His entire family speaks the language. We've been together 20 years, and all I know is hello, good-bye, cheers and a few choice swear words. I'm the only non-Hungarian in the entire family. My son and I are the only ones that don't speak the language. However, I have ALWAYS been able to tell when they are talking about me :)

I took German in high school but haven't used it since. I can remember a few words.

I learned a bit of sign language years ago but don't remember any of it.

I think it would be useful to learn Spanish; especially when I move to Tucson some day.
