Patrick's Granny has just found her levels are raised and is on medication for it, Im really surprised. I always associate it with eating to much of the wrong kinds of fatty food. She has very very little to eat other than fruit and vegetables! She is what I would call underweight (although she wont agree with that----she is 5 foot 3inches and weighs 8 stone)

So anyway, she was equally shocked and has cut out the tiny amount of fat she ate. She has gone on to low fat yoghurts and skimmed milk. Wonderful!!!

She has been given no advice what so ever.OK moan over.

You can google for all kinds of information to help her understand what is going on and why the meds are important. She may not need to cut out that tiny amount of fat after all :)

I'd love to have my cholesterol levels tested again, just out of curiosity. I've changed my diet to include much more fat and animal products over the last few years. I've lost some weight and feel better; it'd be interesting to see if it had any affect at all on my cholesterol levels.

    Guess I better get walking!!!
