We are going to DL December 4 & 5. We went a couple of years ago in Nov (just before Thanksgiving) It was so cold, and pretty crowded.
I am taking my mom and handicap brother (their first time) My brother has really bad joint pains that get worse when it is cold. I want them to see DL at christmas. But I don't want him not to enjoy the magic. Have I made a bad choose?

SO.... My question is where are you coming from? Because if you are use to a warmer climate.. then dress warm and be prepared and you'll have a great time... Layers are great and get a locker to store a warmer sweater and possibly gloves, for the evening ... But You know everyone needs an overpriced Mickey sweatshit so why not splurge.......
That being said .... IT IS SOOO BEAUTIFUL AT CHRISTMAS AND THEY HAVE GREAT PARADES.... Have a very MERRY TRIP

My Mom who is in a wheelchair most of the time says that it is hard on the tooshie-(we bring a chair pad), and that she can get cold sitting (hence the space blanket).

Remember that people will steal anything nailed down even from a wheelchair-so don't bring the goodstuff!

We've had a blast each year.

The weather has been all over the map from 90's in the day time to low 40's at night.

Pack and bring layers of clothes, including gloves and scarves. You'll be fine.

As for those in wheelchairs, I recommend a lap blanket and you can pick up foot warmers, just fold up within the blanket and they make for a nice little personal heater.
