Wilderness bus system works getting to the main Resort buses. We have a 3 and a 7 year-old. Also, on this trip we have 5 full days so it's on the shortish side compared to past trips. How "worth it" is Hoop-Dee-Do Revue for smaller kids? I'd really like to see it but they only offer the CM discount at the 9:30 show and that's going to be too late for our kids. Any other advice as far as Fort Wilderness goes? Paddle boats, tandem bikes etc.? We're really excited to be staying at this Resort for the first time! We've only ever stayed at All Stars (all of 'em) and Port Orleans Riverside (back when it was Dixie Landings). Thanks in advance, everyone! ~Robyn

As far as the golf cart goes, I really think you made the right decision. We always rent one when we are there. Not only does it save a fair amount of time, it is great fun to go zipping around Fort Wilderness in a golf cart. We like driving through the camping portions of the park and looking at all of the fantastic RV's that are there. There are always a few that are million+ Prevost rigs (I know the cost from seeing the brand on Travel Channel shows). Also, if you are there around Christmas many of the camping spaces are decorated with gorgeous Christmas lights and displays... some are just as elaborate as you would expect to find on a regular home. As for the Hoop Dee Do, I think it is a fun show that has become very over-priced. Your 7 year old would enjoy it; I'm not so sure about the 3 year old. Personally, I would have dinner at 'Ohana instead. It is half the cost of the Hoop, the food is much better, and the entertainment for kids is a lot of fun... both for the kids and the adults watching. Everyone should see the Hoop at least once though... you need to decide if this year is the time. Have fun!
