I'm thinking I saw something similar on the Boardwalk before. The mention of the seagulls has been so popular this evening that it seems like it should be a weekly event. One week, fries. Another week, popcorn. How long until I get swooped?

Maybe they went after your ice cream because splash mountain is down and that smell of chlorinated McDonald's fries is gone...

Hot dog flies through the air as I slightly stumble forward and about what looked like 10 million seagulls pounce on it. I was like in tears because I had no idea what had just happened, I didn't even know it was the seagull that hit my head at first! And I felt terrible that I'd dropped his hot dog. Then I realize that my husband of like 3 days was in tears hysterically laughing - he had seen the whole thing. So apparently it is pretty amusing to watch. Oh and I stopped bad about dropping the hot dog after I realized he was laughing at me!

I think that with the fry place being still open (next to Mrs. Potts), that makes it a more attractive area for birds. I would hate to see it happen to a little kid.

Someone on another board said that they have worked at Mrs. Potts, and that at certain times of the year, they had to replace ice cream every 5 minutes or so from attacks.
