    What's up with that?

It also leads to massive online confusion too!

Now we're gonna have to say WDC sucks (Walt Disney's California I mean, not the Walt Disney Company), or WDC sucks (not the Walt Disney Company, Walt Disney's California)...depending on which acronym would happen to apply at the time.

On the other hand, you can say "WDC sucks" meaning both, killing two birds with one stone.

Anyway, it's time they got started on all the signage and artwork to rename our newest crapfest "Walt Disney Land Hong Kong", since that IS the next logical step.

LOL, I think what Westsider was doing is something we call sarcasm ;D.

The thing is that people are just jumping up and down over this announcement, and I really don't see why. The only good is the entrance changes, that looks like it might be ok.

Bean says there will be more. I hope it's better than this. Because I guarantee you, if the Little Mermaid ride is going to be another dark ride like Monsters (which is very well done for what it is), and even if it is very well done, inside of six months, it'll be a walk on. These things are just nothing special.

The cars stuff is just really kind of ok. I suppose. I don't care for the movie that much, and I am tired of cartoons. It is utterly weak to keep doing this.

    The entrance sounds good.

But people seem happy. It's a shame that most of the "fans" of this stuff don't even know why they like what they do.

It seems like its the greatest thing in the world because you waited SO long for it, even though it might be mediocre when you think about too long. He then makes another anaology about starving and not eating for 6 months and how your insides are just shrievling up....until somebody throws you a cracker!!! And you know what, its the BEST damn cracker you ever tasted lol. You had to wait six months for it, just like you had to wait forever to meet that girl, but once you do, its HEAVEN lol.

Well for Disney fans, the DCA updates is now our cracker ;). We waited soooo long to eat, someone tossed us a bone and we are chewing on it like a pitt bull.

Besides, ANYTHING has to be better than what we been getting served these last six years. This cracker comes saltined too ;).

In other words, you'll accept any crap they want to toss at you. Well, I didn't want to do that in 2001, and I don't want to do that now. Everything needs to be examined on balance, and with an even handed eye.

What was done in 2001 wasn't so bad as some people say, and what's announced now is not that great.

As I said, we will see. But if they turn this place into even more of a randomland "Disney's Random Adventure" then it's basically going to be little better than it was before. Sure, it will be more ornate, and shiny. Apparently people seem to think shiny equates to good. Not much more intelligent than a magpie.

LMAO!! You can't win, can you kids ;). When I spend my weekly tirad on the park for the last 6 YEARS, after visiting it numorous times, doing every attraction, see every show, I based my displeasure on that experience and people called me harsh, negative and bitter because I was TOO critical on the park(s) and the company.

Now of course, I see the changes they want to make, I generally like them and just saying to have a wait-and-see attitude before I crown DCA the best park behind TDS (LIKE I did with DCA since I never commented on it until AFTER I visited it) now I'm kowtowing to the company and willing to accept *anything* lol. I simply LIKE what's there so far just like people who happen to like DCA in its current carnation LIKE DCA for what's there now. And I will go out on a huuuuge limb here and say what is coming is 50 times better what's there now. But, I'm now officially a sheep now lol.

*Throws hands up in the air*

"now I'm kowtowing to the company "

Based on what you said previously, yes that is what you made it sound like.

Yeah, the cracker analogy stands, it's still a great cracker, right? Now, if I said 6 months later and we were given poop (which is what I think you feel about it) to eat instead and still gushing over it, well THAT'S kowtowing ;).

Like I said though, its a wait-and-see thing and we ALL know the concept art usually comes off much better than the actual thing sometimes (kind of like the original DCA ;)), but yeah its really exciting for many people and I can understand why.

I have said wait and see, but I honestly don't expect much different than what we have now, only in a different looking package.

And, I really don't think it's that great a cracker right now. I'm sure the new entryway will be nice. I have ZERO interest in yet another cartoon dark ride, and Cars is not my favorite movie.

I hope the walt disney story is well done.
