Diane taught me how to dance - no small accomplishment. I looked awesome in those Angels Flights. Too bad that as a man gets older, the booty is the first thing to go. At least I held on to it until I was 40. I'll miss you Donna, RIP.

Yes, I was more shocked than upset, simply because none of DONNA's fans were awared of her condition. So it was unexpected news for many. I know Inspector57 was also shocked to learn of DONNA's passing. But that's life. At least we will always have DONNA's extraordinary catalog of music available at our disposal and we also hope that her estate will release some of the many songs she recorded but never released, such as the "Ordinary Girl" (proposed Broadway show soundtrack) and dozens of other compositions in DONNA's personal vault. When you think of it.. today's divas like Gaga, Madonna, Britney and others owe her career to influences from DONNA and her legendary producer Giorgio Moroder. DONNA's contribution to dance music and electronica still resonate on some today's radio hits. I think it's tragic that DONNA's passing came at a time when dance music is so prominently played on the radio once again as it did back in the late 70's. From DONNA's late 60's "Black Magic" and right through last month's single release "Angel" (where she is featured on her nephew's, Omega Red's song), DONNA's legendary career will speak for itself for years to come. The Empress is gone but her music will leave in her fans' heart forever. LONG LIVE THE FIRST LADY OF LOVE. RIP to our angel DONNA. Goodbye all.
