I was terrified, a co-worker who happened to be in the audience said I had a dear in the head lights look and was looking at the mic like it was going to attack me. It didn't help that I'm a contalto (girl tennor) and was following a saprono so my starting note was too high for comfort, lol. I don't think I will ever solo again, but part of me would love to get some vocal training and sing in clubs or with a band.
