The weather is great, and the crowds are low. But, you miss out on a lot of the Christmas stuff. Some of the decorations and the souvenier type things are there, but I would love to see the snow on Main St. again.

My understanding is Thanksgiving weekend itself is very busy. But we always go the weekend before and have had good luck every time. The Christmas parade usually starts that friday we arrive. All the decorations are up by then too. Great time to go IMHO. A wonderful way to kick off the holiday season! Have a great time!
