One thing that I have noticed is that even with the most standard of releases, Disney always does a classy job of giving fun little extra things. I can't think of too many non-Disney DVD's that match them in the number or quality of extras. It may be another 20+ years (and probably will be), but I would be willing to bet that with time every animated feature will have a double DVD.

The only 2 DVDs that I would definitely buy on 2-disc even though I already have single-disc DVD are Black Cauldron & Great Mouse Detective.
