But we go on alot of holiday weekends, so that may bias my opinion a bit. But we always follow the same plan: hit the parks early, and go back to the hotel for a break when things get really busy around noon. Then go back refreshed in the early evening. For those who want to spend the entire day and evening in the parks, the crowds may be too much for them on a holiday weekend.

The first 2 days of the weekend were crowded, but people were usually traveling home on Monday to get the kiddies ready for the first day of school. Now that schools no longer start right after Labor Day, all bets are off. We were there last year Labor Day Monday and it was a mob scene. Hopefully now that the 50th is winding down the crowds will ease up too. I guess we'll find out soon.
