I would beg my mom to do the full circle. She rarely did. I wonder why such a simple thing unless just always in a hurry. She would not drive the freeways. A Ruby's Diner has recently opened in the Railroad Depot building. In addition to thier 50s diner theme, there is a bar. They serve a good breakfast.

Most of you have seen it before-- it's where the gang from "That Think You Do!" meet for breakfast in the movie. In fact, downtown "Erie" was shot just around the corner. The new Rubys at the depot has a very good breakfast menu. There's also a lounge with a model train circling a ledge above. I mention this because the retro scenery (depicting an imaginary trip across country during the streamliner era) was designed, painted and installed by yours truly.
