Bob Iger was even there. Check it out ----------------- "Bob Iger Participates in Filming of Christmas Parade" Bob Iger, president and chief executive officer of The Walt Disney Company, visited Disneyland on Monday to film the opening to the 22nd annual Walt Disney World Christmas Day Parade, which this year celebrates the 50th anniversary of Disneyland Park. Companies like to use synergy.

For as long as I can remember, there's always been segments during the special that are filmed at Disneyland. Besides, as has already been stated, with Disney World participating in the 18-month-celebration, too, it's only fair that Disneyland be given its actual due for the one having the golden birthday. >>It's just so amusing to me that people seem hung up on who's stealing what from WDW or Disneyland.... they are the same company!!<< I know what you mean! Heck, I'd love it if they also added Paris, Hong Kong, and Japan to the special.

Yeah, watching the WDW archives of these Xmas parades, etc... really opens your eyes to how much has changed over the years at WDW...

Which means they can't really use older footage with the Castle in it since its all dressed up for the 50th this year... I'm looking forward to seeing how it turns out... They filmed alot more stuff for it this year... Cinderellabration, B&B, newer characters (Little Einsteins, Chicken Little, JoJo, etc...)
