But then I complained to the DLR eCommerce team and they honored the rate via e-mail and gave me a special number to call. But it would be so much easier if the booking portal worked.

I have booked over the phone for Disney hotels at least 20 times, and it always takes a chunk of time. This time it took me only a couple of minutes. I have my reservation confirmation on e-mail, so I am all set!

However, I went back and found that the date I booked over the phone was now available on the web. Go figure. There are definitely some kinks in the system but it's great when it works.
