What made you decide to get one, peeaanuut? I think they're cute, but the price makes me go, "Whaaa?"

Maybe I'm old skool, but viewing pix in an album (or even my cell phone) seems cheaper and just as effective. What am I missing?

I like viewing them on the TV or computer screen. The other option I have is to get a 15" lcd and plug it into a dvd player that plays .jpg files (with the help of an adapter of course)

I don't get all of my photos printed anymore either. Usually I just pick the best half dozen or so and have those printed at Costco. I think it's like 17 cents a print now and you can upload them from home to pick up in an hour.

If that's not convenient, I have one of those 4x6 photo quality printers too, but that runs more like 30-40 cents a sheet, so it has to be a real photo emergency to get me to pull that thing out!

I was also thinking of doing the screensaver for the computer but my computer is in my room and that is off limits to everyone (unless they are doing my laundry).

So my search for a solution to showing them out in the living room led me to this thought. I just have to find a decent one.
