Why not, only a month early.

We (my girlfriend and I) have a lot of fun, but I wouldn't say we go all out. We enjoy pumpkin carving and putting together costumes rather than buying premade ones. Last year my girlfriend and I went as Willy Wonka (me) and an oompa loompa. We're trying to think of good costumes for this year, but can't so far. Any suggestions.

Also, my girlfriend loves buying costumes for her dog. Here he is last Halloween:

For costumes, you could go as Mario and Luigi. My brother and his (now ex) girlfriend did it a couple years ago. All you need are overalls, a green hat and shirt, and a red hat and shirt. They put an M and an L on the hats to help show who was who, but it was pretty clear. Some fake moustaches would make it look really great!
