Still no word here if it will be the rumored 15th, but that 28th anniversary day seems like a likely possibility.

Unfortunately, word has come down through supervisors that DisneySea will indeed NOT open with TDL and its opening will occur no earlier than the first of next month. It's OLC's intention to gauge the reaction (turnout and public opinion) to the opening of TDL and proceed from there as to when to reopen DisneySea.

If the turnout and enthusiasm we witnessed the other day at Bon Voyage is an indicator, and we think it is, TDL will be quite crowed upon reopening and it won't be long before DisneySea reopens, as well.

How about your wife, what area of the Resort is she a Cast Member. And is it likely she'll get called back to work at TDL or have to wait until TDS reopens. Or does she work at one of the hotels. I think its great that the parks are reopening since the Japanese people need an escape right now. And people like your wife need to return to work.

Then you already known what a lot of Japanese fanatics do. There are even websites devoted to CM/Performer information and evaluation. Hehehe. -- MagicalNezumi

Bob also has his own white board for just me on here. He knows all about my life including that I live in London and that I'm on vacation in Japan next week. Not to mention my obsession with the Royal wedding and Characters. Myself I know nothing of Bob except he likes Oprah and is Australian.

And no worries Resort Cruiser I was just enquiring out of interest and concern if she'd be going back to work soon at Tokyo Disneyland. Or would have to wait longer for the DisneySea park to reopen. What information you share is your choice.

And it does seem unless something is officially announced in the next couple of hours that the 15th of April may not hold up.

High winds cancelled the 2nd performance of the easter parade.. so I did not get to see it.
One huge surprise.. the new stadium seating that replaces the grassy area around Partners Statue.. facing the castle. Too early for me to even make up my mind about how I feel about it.
The Easter decor in the hub is really nice.
The refurbishing of Fantasyland east looks great and the new Kingdom Treasures store (formerly Aristocats) looks great. This is where I dropped an obcene about of $$ on the new 28th anniversary and Easter merchandise.
In fact.. most of the park looks in great shape and very colorful and freshly painted, as the best and premiere Disneyland park in the World should. Kudos OLC.. Now if only they actually made that castle room into a real attraction, it would be worth waiting for it again.. but as of now.. NO.

Each seat appears to have a number plaque on it, and the gate appears to have a plaque which says "Capacity: 122 people." This leads me to believe that the area is for VIP seating of some sort. They'll probably use it for media, actual VIPs (e.g. visiting celebrities, etc) from time to time, but as for most of the time, it would not surprise me if it was used for some sort of premium paid experience. But this is just an educated guess.
