If you need a break from the crowds visit Cafe Fantasia at the DL Hotel. It's an oasis of calm just 5 minutes from the hub and well worth a visit. It's one of my biggest tips as it's been a life-saver several times in the past. Are there any specific questions you'd like answered?!!!

It's such a wonderful place. >>>Don't eat in Discoveryland (it's awful across the board).<<< That's also true. If you like Oriental inspired food, you should try the Agrabah Cafe. It's our favourite buffet restaurant. Be aware that it isn't open every day. When you arrive you should go to the City Hall and ask for open restaurants.
Originally Posted By dagobert >>>Is Cafe Fantasia a bar? We don't drink.<<< It's a combination of a bar and a cafe. Cafe Fantasia offers non-alcoholic beverages as well. At DLP, alcohol is offered everywhere. Unlike in the US, alcohol is also sold in the Disneyland Park.
Originally Posted By u k fan rockcow1, I don't drink either, but I still really enjoy Cafe Fantasia. They have a full-range of non-alcoholic drinks including hot drinks and cocktails etc. There's a slightly more grown up bar area which then opens up into the more family friendly atrium at the entrances to the two DLH restaurants. You should check out this site for dining info if you haven't already, it's very helpful in assisting with making choices before you leave. http://www.dlpfoodguide.com/ Check out the secret covered walkway. Not only is it great in the rain, but it's usually very quiet so it can often be the quickest way to get around. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v...g8zSJweE If you want to ride Crush's Coaster get there early. It's very slow loading and has no FP. Other than that most of WDSP is doable without much of a wait if you exclude the time you'll spend waiting for shows to start. At DLP BTM is usually the longest line along with Peter Pan. You can FP most of the worst offenders at DLP though so it's not too bad. Check out the graveyard at the exit to Phantom Manor and listen out for a surprise!!!

For the rest of the meals we will just see what is open and try it! We are not big eaters. Is Crush's Coaster part of EMH? We plan on hitting EMH then going to Inventions for a quick bite. We are staying at DLH, so it sounds like an easy do.

Crush's Coaster is in WDSP and so not included in the EMHs. You should check the DLP homepage, because I read recently that Disney tested EMHs in WDSP, but I'm not sure about that.

Since your son likes beer, King Ludwigs offers the beer of the brewery by the same name. Both the Wheat Beer and the Lager are very good, better than the regular French beer sold at DLRP.
