Does anyone know if he voiced Doc Hudson before he became too ill? Since the voices are done several years in advance, Mr. Newman could have already done his part.

I saw Wikipedia has already made mention of the dedication of the next film may be for George Carlin and Paul Newman.

I meant his script. Of course, some might not care if another voice is used, but it drives me bloody crazy. So would he rather rewrite the script or use someone else? All I'm askin'

He's been sick for quite a while now, I really doubt that he recorded anything recently. I could be wrong, but, it just seems unlikely to me. George Carlin had a heart attack...healthy one day, dead the next.

Could Robert Redford do the rest of Doc Hudson?
