This is exactly the sort of thing that DCA should be going and kudos to Jose Barragan, Michael Jordan and the rest of DLR Food & Beverage for perserving with this project.

lemisfan the deal is just for this year but they wil evaluate the weekends based on guest feedback and demand. So the more people attend the more likely it is to return and if you see a survey CM tell 'em what you think!

And I just come straight from a topic about DCA's lack of marketing. Too funny!

Anyway ... Looks like a cool event. But once again - Seems Disney is trying so hard to keep people knowing exactly where it is. Strange!

But just like the Soap Opera weekends, X-Games, Summer Concert Series, etc .... they seem to do so little to make the park better- IN THE LONG RUN. No matter who's running the shots.

Well, the different parts of the event take place in different places. Yes, there are some things that will be inside DCA, but there are other things that will be taking place at Napa Rose, Granville's, and the Disneyland Hotel, so it's not just a DCA-only event.

As for whose idea what is, it doesn't matter to me. The cooking idea at Napa is a cool idea, but having thought more about it, it would cost $500 for two of us. For that amount of money, we could instead have an amazing meal at Napa Rose and even invite two friends as guests. So, that's probably out.

How many hundreds of thousands of people pass through the resort in a month and only 80 of them will have this opportunity. Many of the other dining events also seem to be held in small venues.

What is wrong with them? Don’t they think people will be upset when they read about these events and then can’t get into them? This event seems geared to cause more frustration than exhilaration.
