It's kind of like hang gliding - 2 of the most intense weeks of the whole year, then all of a sudden, you're floating! I was hired late this year, so I've been playing catch-up the whole year. I am really looking forward to having the summer to get ready for next year.

Now I can plan my trip to DL - yay! (My "baby" who is 24 wants to go there for vacation with his old mom and dad - I sure raised him right! lol)

Of course I do have to go back next week to change rooms and finish up end of the year stuff and finish a class I was taking for h=new teachers, and I am taking a class all week the next week, but no lesson plans, no papers to grade...I will miss my wonderful little class, however.

I had to bring home the "class pet" - we named hm Nemo. He's our butterfly that didn't come out right - a bad wing, can only fly down, so I didn't want him to become bird food. I immediately thought of Nemo, and the kids loved him. We have all held and fed our Nemo on our fingers. Even if he flutters down to the floor, he will always climb onto his dead rose as soon as I put it next to him, just like he's trained. Today he is 4 weeks old, so he's getting pretty ancient!

Anyway, I am so looking forward to my next trip to DL, I just had to get on and cheer!
