for me, my offbeat area is front of big thunder. you see most of the effect and big thunder provides a great backdrop.
Can you see the fireworks from Critter Country. Also i have always wondered if you can sit in the Tiki Room Patio to watch the show. i think that might be a nice place to see the show

RIDE THE STORYBOOK BOATS! Time it right and they stop so you all can watch the fireworks. Trust me-this is the best, and you can still hear the music.

Hoping to watch the fireworks and snow near IASW this year. ♥

Belle, I am just sleep-deprived. One of my excellent character traits (patting self on back)...I don't get cranky, I just get loopy. *sigh* It's like a week-long slumber party for me. Woo hoo!

Oooh...ship's wheel sounds good, and I'll have to try Big Thunder.

It seemed that we timed it just right so we were inside during the parts without shells, and outside when everything was going on. We got there about halfway through the show, and were still able to get on it twice with them still going. There was no wait at all, but they did make us get off and go back through the queue. Definately a great out-of-the-way place to see them!

I also saw them from Fantasyland once, which was really strange for me, since I'm almost always in the Hub for them. They were a whole lot louder back there, and it was really neat to see fireworks going off on both sides of you. It was neat having to turn back and forth to see everything. I also really liked how you could hear the collective gasp from the crowd during the Haunted Mansion part (yes, that one!) in Fantasyland. It made me really happy to hear that. It's also where I ran into DlandDug!
