Sad, sad news.....prayers please!

First of all it's not me. I know that would be many of your first thoughts.


I just got back from the hospital though and my sister in law passed away. She was in her 40s. I am still in shock, it was so unexpected and sudden. She was hit by a car a few weeks ago, before Christmas. She only had some injury to her knee. She had surgery on it and had been is a leg cast.

I am not really sure what happened but it seems like maybe a clot formed. She was home and seemed to have some sort of seizure. I believe she was gone before she made it to the hospital.

She is my husband's brother's wife. They have three kids, 20, 19 & 17. The two eldest are in college and were home here for the holidays. Everyone is taking this very rough. It's such a shock.

Her mother is also very old and not well health wise and had to be brought in to the ER tonight as well.

I ask for you all to keep my brother in law and the kids and the whole family in your thoughts and prayers.

Wow, 2007 is not starting off very well with so much sad news.
It is so hard to lose someone who is young and healthy one minute, then suddeny something goes awry and they are taken from us. I pray those three kids especially will find the strength to get through this.

I have to say you did give me a scare, I was afraid to open the thread in case it was YOU so don't do that again please, take care of yourself and baby as shock can do all sorts of things to your system!
