Any of you SoCal folks have any must sees at Petco Park? What's the best food? Any other information that would be helpful? Thanks all!

Also, Any LPers in the San Diego area? Just curious.

(Meanwhile, GO, Giants! ♥) And have fun with your behind-the-scenes tour! I'm sure it really will be an awesome experience for you. Oh...when you visit Phoenix to see SF vs the 'Backs....get the nachos. xoxo

Before games they have a wiffel ball game for kids and sometimes actual players from the Padres come out to play with them. Its a lot of fun to watch. Also, with kids again, go to the sandbox in right center field. Its a giant sandbox meant to symbolize the beach. It is right behind the outfield wall and the wall is clear so its a unique view to see the game. Check out the team store. It inside the Western Medal Supply Co. building in left field. The building is an actual building that was there and they built the stadium around it. It's really neat. I don't know much about the food there, but the Gaslamp district offers some great food within walking distance. And its a very safe neighborhood. One last thing. Parking is incredibly bad down there. Best thing I do is park at the stadium for the tour on the streets in the gaslamp. Then, for the game, park at the metro station in downtown. Take the trolley to the stadium. The Petco Park station is on the stadium grounds. Hope this helps! Any other questions you can email me if you would like. My address is in my profile.
