Well, I did get my lazy butt out of bed and was watching the little TV in our bathroom while I was getting ready. I heard that this was the anniversary of Martin Luther King's death and I about passed out from the shock. I had no idea that today was that day. So I'm waking up and I say a couple of sentences I've never spoken before. Words that were among the last words ever spoken by Dr. Martin Luther King on a day exactly 40 years ago, on the day that he was killed. That was just an unbelievable coincidence. Or was it? Was the eternal soul of Martin Luther King talking to me this morning? Wow. I just don't know.

Your experience is not easily explained and I can see deeper meaning in it.

It's comforting to me and I kinda take it like me seeing someone who resembles them is thier way of letting me know they are thinkin of me and letting me know they are not far away. know what I mean or is that way off base?

I've had all sorts of experiences of coincidences but in retelling them, they don't convey the profound nature of what you personally felt. I don't worry about arguing them to others. But you're right, they are comforting. Just for the record, my take on RoadTrip's experience is that it is a meaningful spiritual experience. We're just not prepared to handle their level of profundity right from the start, hence some of the ribbing.

Heck we only use 10% of our brains. Who knows what the other 90% holds and what its used for. (Que the Twilight Zone music) It's all good MaryPoppins. I'm glad you understand where I wa going with my post though, and I understand what you mean in yours It is very deep when you strat to ponder it. It is comforting indeed.

It may seem stupid to some, but I actually feel quite emotional about the experience. I'm not sure what it means, or if it means anything. But I certainly plan to remain open to whatever meaning it may have. By the way... this was not a dream. Although I still felt sleepy at the time, I was awake and conscious when it occurred.
