Too bad that the whole park was filled with minor level attractions that were billed as the equivalent of major attractions. When the small attractions have to try to fill the void created by an overall lack of big attractions, the small attractions, that would ordinarily only be expected to add some "spice" to the overall mix, suffer from undo attention and criticism.

But back in 2001 .. projecting in Digital was not quite normal a thing .. like it is now. And in some wherehouse ... is the original and safety print of the film. Take the safety print to a video printing lab .. boom! On video. This is done every day.

Trust me there is an Edit master, a Protect Master, and a Dupe master in a vault somewhere. No one edits a master, even for a 30 sec spot that doesn't have a protect master. That is a box that surrounds the projector. It is designed to reduce dust particles on the film. That is the low budget version of a "wet gate" that removes dust. This is the same method they use on Soarin' and is not very effective. And eventually will scratch and ruin the print. High end projector rooms are also a pressurized environment to blow dust out of the room. They also chose not to do this on Soarin'.
