Amazing theming topped with an awesome ride. Then it rained (and rained and rained...get the refrence?) as we booked it over to Star Tours. Of course the line was outside (Great luck right?) but when we got inside...and I was extremely underwhelmed. The line was pretty much the exact same thing, and especially since the body scanner segment was down (Black screen) about 1 month after it started working. Really?! The ride on the other hand I loved. The screen was incredibly clear (actually all screen were very HD and great). I don't know where we went after the hologram, but it was cool and it wasn't the Death Star. Allison Janney's droid character is nice, but I miss Donut-on-head lady. We headed for exit, got on the Epcot bus (which was very speedy might I add) and headed to the experiment. Will post about Epcot later

If they proposed Marvel Metroville remake of the backlot and Streets of America area (including a new show for LMA) happens OR if the proposed Pixar Studios expansion (Monster's Inc Coaster, Cars Land (with newly patented racing technology) and the kiddie rides zone) happens OR if the proposed George Lucasland expansion happens, then I can see DHS moving much higher on my todo list. All three of those are amazing ideas that would totally remake that park if executed to the detail we know WDI can do. Since a ragtag band of former Imagineers produced WWoHP with a pitance of a budget, Glendale should be able to kick some tourist a$$ with any of those ideas and if they're freed of Jay Rasulo's antiquated accounting methods.

And all of those rumors are just that, rumors, the only one with any credence is Pixar. Marvel won't happen. Period. And I seriously doubt there's any consideration for a Lucasland.

That's a relief. I'm sure the guests who didn't see it working as designed feel so much better about their own experience in the brand new queue. -- Just poking VB! Purely in fun
